The klokhofstede is a typical polder farm situated in Oudenbrug. The eldest buildings date back to 1862 and have been restored since then. In 2003 the De Klokhofstede became a goat farm, therefore, a new stable was built and this has room for 400 goats. There is also space for a lambing stable, 3 times a year a group of lambs is raised here. In one of the old sheds a young cattle shed was created and has room for 120 young goats.
The farm is exploited by Bram and Charlotte. Bram takes care of the nursing and feeding of the goats and also takes care of most milkings. Apart from that he also works on the land, the farm is about 25 acres big. Charlotte takes care of the little lambs and the young cattle and she helps out with the big goats if necessary. The farm also contains a holiday home for 4-8 people. And although the goats have an important place in the farm, they also milk about 30 Belgium milk sheep. They also have room to maintain several old Belgium races varying from a dozen cattle to chickens and rabbits.
